The pre-existing structure dates back to the period between the seventh and eighth centuries. It is spaculated that a Lombard cemetery is located near the sanctuary, from which the construction of a small chapel is presumed.
The church is located in the hamlet Vico, anticipated by a small churchyard and a portico. It has a gabled façade, with a single hall, with central openings between which a portal flanked by two quadrangular windows and one instead, placed above.
The interior is a single room, all decorated, equipped with instruments for the control of music. the presbytery is raised and quadrangular and ends in a piano apsidal, interiorly decorated, at the center of which is the niche containing the statue of the Madonna. On the side of the church is the vestry and the bell tower.
