The construction of the Sanctuary of the Madonna de Mangher, dedicated to the Celestial Mother, began in 1723, in the place where it is said that the Madonna appeared to a local shepherd to save his flock (and those of the villagers) from an epidemic.
The building is oriented along the north-south axis, with the façade containing the main entrance facing south. The façade, with a triangular pediment, is composed of a single register delimited by stylized pilasters and can be reached via a double staircase. In the central part the stone portal triumphs while on the sides there are two small windows and the same number of plates placed above them. The bell tower is located on the north side of the building.
The interior, with relief surfaces and wall paintings, has a single nave culminating in the rectangular plan presbytery. The space is marked by pilasters and a slightly protruding cornice, which marks the point of grafting of the covering structures. In 2012, the sanctuary was enriched with a precious work of art, the via crucis of Zefferino, consisting of 14 terracotta tiles, a work that required months and months of patient work.
