Since 1908, Treviso Bresciano has hosted this huge fortress, equipped to fight the nearby Austrian fortress in Lardaro. Treviso Bresciano’s territory was one of the most important military frontline zones. Today the fortress is very easy to reach: there are many hiking trails surrounded by nature, such as the “Alta Via dei Forti” hiking trail, that you can find in the “Trekking” section.
The fortress can only be visited outside but, from here, the view over Lake Idro and Adamello and Brenta mountains is so enjoyable and charming.
