The Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo is in the center of the village of Lavenone, where there was once a smaller church, built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The structure has a gabled structure, with the façade divided into two parts, housing the central opening. A large portal that is characterised by the lower part, is a protruding tympanum, with a metallic cross and plumes made of stone.
The interior of the church is a single room, with side chapels and details with a frescoed vaulted ceiling, set on a high cornice that runs along all the perimeter walls. The presbytery, raised and quadrangular, has semidirectional areas for the choir. One side is the vestry, some service rooms and the bell tower.
