Kite Surfing

This sport is a combination of kiting, water skiing, wakeboarding and windsurfing. In substitution of traditional sailing, this sport uses the power of the wind together with kites, which are maneuverable with two or four cables. The kite adds the vertical traction to the incredible capacity of pulling that can be compared to a powerful motorboat. With this power the surfers can jump metres above the water. This sport is practiced on the northern part of Lake Idroin Ponte Caffaro.
